She also enjoys residencies at a collection of beautiful hotels, restaurants and wineries throughout Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Somerset and beyond.

Background  & Inspiration

With over a decade of professional experience, Charlie has worked with weddings, luxury private events, corporate clients, festivals, garden parties, cabarets and theatre productions. Alongside her solo work, she has also performed with bands, an acoustic duo, a close-harmony vintage act, a full orchestra, multiple theatre companies and a jazz collective — experiences that have shaped her distinctive, expressive performance style.

Inspired by artists such as Dusty Springfield, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse, Harry Styles, Olivia Dean and Billie Eilish, Charlie’s sound feels both timeless and contemporary — full of soul, character and heart.​

Did you know?

 In 2017 Charlie won two Shaftesbury Fringe awards (Best Popular Music and Best Overall Act) for acoustic duo 'Hummingbird', praised for their entertaining and relaxed performance style, creative harmonies and diverse material. In 2023 and 2024 she performed in another award-winning piece, Glory of The Garden, with PlayGC Theatre Company, awarded best in its category at Shaftesbury Fringe in both years. In 2024 she also received the accolade of 'Honourable Mention' for her show 'Sounds of the Sixties' in the Best Popular Music category.
